Founded in 2005, Scarlett Mafia began as a 3-person masquerade group; since then, they’ve been branching out into many different types of performance. After winning many best in shows and best of weekend awards, they took a hiatus and then returned in 2021 with a newfound purpose: to spread their body-positive messages the best way they know how by incorporating Drag, burlesque and even sideshow.
Scarlett Mafia has worked with pride festivals and many other conventions along the east coast. Aiming not only to tantalize and tease but also to make you laugh and cry, they bring their unique take on cosplay burlesque and nerdlesque to the convention scene.
