Asheru —aka “The stone that the builder refused” is a Peabody award winning writer, veteran educator, US State Department Global Hip Hop Cultural Ambassador, and social entrepreneur hailing from Washington DC. He has a Hip Hop music career spanning over two decades as an independent, international Hip Hop artist, releasing albums as a member of Unspoken Heard, and several subsequent solo projects, spreading his passion for the culture on his travels to over 25 countries and counting.
