Sierra Kyoko (Sierra) was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She released her first analogue record, “Boogie Oogie Oogie” in 2005, which was produced by Volta Masters, a leading Japanese Hip-Hop track producer. By 2011 she had released two more albums: “Heavnly U” and “Timeless”.
While being actively engaged in her own solo live activities, Sierra has also participated in numerous recordings and collaborations with various DJs, such as lending her powerful voice to FullRock’s debut single “Ronin Sunset”, where her authenticity, passionate energy and encouragement can be felt throughout the beat driven, bushido themed track. Sierra’s albums present her engaging and alternative singing voice, which many consider reminiscent of 70s, 80s and 90s pop and R&B singers.
