Destiny’s Designs, AKA Des has loved anime since she was little. Her first love is Sailor Moon, but her favorites span all genres of anime and videos games, including but not limited to: Vampire Hunter D, Slayers, Final Fantasy 14, Monster Hunter, and Harvest Moon. She’s been actively cosplaying for over 15 years, both performing and competing at various conventions and events on the East Coast.
Des is more than happy to share her knowledge of cosplay and crafting with others. Helping and encouraging friends/family to learn new things and expand their comfort zones is just one of the things she loves about cosplay. She could talk to you for hours about cosplay and crafting. Her answer about any craft is “YES, YOU CAN TO THE THING”! XD
Des has shifted some of her focus from cosplay into feeding her fandoms by making plush and other geeky items with her family as an artist for their shop, *Moon Family Studios*. You can join her plush workshops to learn basic sewing, or a few more advanced plush techniques.
